With the growing emphasis on energy conservation and environmental protection, the insulation technology of building envelope structures has been increasingly enhanced. External wall insulation technology has emerged as a crucial building energy - saving technique. The internal insulation system for external walls is a traditional insulation approach. It has been applied and practiced in Europe and America for many years. At present, it is widely used in Japan and South Korea, which share the same latitude as China. The internal insulation composite board uses either graphite polystyrene boards made from BASF Neopor® graphite polystyrene particles or XPS extruded boards manufactured through environmentally - friendly CO₂ foaming technology as the substrate. These are then prefabricated and combined with paper - faced gypsum boards in the factory.
